研究実績の概要

The long term ERK2 KO mice in adipose tissues exhibited extremely interesting phenotype including renal atrophy and live tumors. These were totally unexpected. The original plan for last year was to treat these mice with LKB1 mutant, which was changed due to these observations. Instead we planned to elucidate the mechanisms of these phenotype changes. The final years budget was not completely used due to administrative limitation to accept budget request. However, with these results we are currently preparing the manuscript to show these new findings. Currently, only we are in procurement of antibody of ZBTB18 which will explain the phenotype change in adipose tissue.This experiment will be conducted outside current support. Overall project was successful including presentation at Keystone symposium.
