研究実績の概要	During the first year, I completed to collect data from English second language (L2) learners from Japan with diverse proficiency. Following the procedure that I planned before, each participant completed the speaking and writing tasks under my guidance. After finishing the data collection, two research assistants transcribed the speaking data. Then, another two research assistants organized the speaking and writing data for scoring.
現在までの達成度 (区分)	現在までの達成度 (区分) 2: おおむね順調に進展している理由 Similar with my original plans, I could finish data collection and data organization in the first year.
今後の研究の推進方策	Following the plans, I am planning to analyze the data and start to focus on writing up the manuscript in the second year.
次年度使用額が生じた理由	I planned to purchase some items for research; however, it has been slightly delayed. In addition, the process has taken longer time than I expected. Therefore, I could not use the funding to analyze the data. I am planning to go to an international conference to give a presentation about a part of my research. I will use the funding for this travel. In addition, I am planning to purchase some electronic items, such as a tablet PC and a printer, which will be used while writing up the manuscript. Also, I will pay for membership fee and dropbox by using the fund.
