研究成果の概要

本研究は、能動的知覚と受動的知覚の利点を系統的文献レビューと行動実験で探求しました。レビューでは、四つの感覚モダリティから86件の関連研究を特定し、知覚結果をタスクの具体性に関連付けました。能動的知覚は一般に知覚精度を向上させますが、結果は感覚モダリティやタスクによって異なりました。行動実験では、ロボットアームと感覚代替装置を用いた2Dオブジェクトのサイズ推定を行いました。認知的関与が知覚精度を向上させることが示されましたが、能動的探索と受動的探索の間に有意な差は見られませんでした。包括的な研究には改良された実験インターフェースが必要です。
