研究実績の概要 |
Firstly, the experiments on different radiant systems were carried out smoothly. A field study was conducted in a nZEB office building applying the radiant ceiling panel and groundwater heat pump system in Sapporo. The results of thermal performance and comfort measurements were analyzed and published in the Journal. Secondly, the development of design optimization methods based on the experimental results was also in progress. A parametric analysis was carried out by using CFD simulation on the radiant ceiling panel with curved and segmented structure. The results were also summarized and published in the Journal. Besides, a grey-box model was developed and validated with former experimental results. This model will be used for the prediction and optimization of the radiant systems.

理由
In the past year, the research has made big progress. Two Journal papers were published based on the finished research work. The results were also presented to the public at two international conferences and one local conference in Japan. The first part of the research plan, including the evaluation of radiant system operation and system comparison was mostly completed. The results were analyzed and showed the characters and issues of the application radiation system used in a cold region. The development of the design framework also had small progress. The model which can describe the real system operation was finished and validated with the experimental results. This can be the basis for creating a control model for the system design and operation stage in the next step.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
According to the research plan, the future study will continue based on the previous and current studies. A simplified grey-box model will be completed using commercial simulation or programming software (TRNSYS, ANSYS, MATLAB) based on the investigation of radiant system performance in terms of both indoor thermal conditions and energy consumption. This model shall simulate and predict the system operates similarly to the actual measurements. The focus of the research is going to shift from system performance evaluation to system control and system optimization. The model control methods are planned to be combined with the model. The operations of the radiant systems are expected to be optimized based on the modeling results, and the total energy consumption will also decrease.
