In this fiscal year, the applicant has submitted the findings of the anomalous Hall effect of Ag2CrO2 to an academic journal. Through discussion with collaborators and theorists, the applicant has found a giant anomalous Hall effect present in the electrical transport properties of Ag2CrO2, where the effect is attributed to the fluctuations of the magnetic moments. Since Ag2CrO2 is highly magnetic, this effect was found to possess a notable anomalous Hall ratio. Although further elucidation of the magnetic structure within Ag2CrO2 is required, there is a possibility that the unconventional anomalous Hall effect may originate from some non-coplanar magnetic structure found in Ag2CrO2 together with the enhancment of the anomalous Hall effect from the thermal fluctuations of the spins. The applicant has also performed the measurements of spin transport in nanoscale Kagome ferromagnets with internal colleagues and external collaborators. Although the results are still preliminary and cannot be discussed in detail at the moment, continued work of spin transport in such a system may reveal further insight into the relationship between the anomalous Hall effect, spin Hall effect and Berry curvature.
