研究概要

名詞比喩の生成に関して，説明的な比喩よりも詩的な比喩を生成するときのほうが，喩辞　　（たとえる語）の探索範囲が広くなり，表現したい特徴を典型的に持たない概念も探索されることを明らかにした．また，形容詞比喩の理解において，喩辞が中立的な印象を持つ比喩では，形容詞比喩が名詞比喩や動詞比喩に比べてネガティブな印象を喚起しやすく，形容詞の意味の印象と詩的度の間には負の相関が成立することを示した．さらに，名詞比喩の理解において，聞き手の作業記憶容量が大きいと比喩理解が容易になる傾向があるが，理解過程に及ぼす影響はあまり確認されなかった．
