研究概要

モデルベースアプローチは，認知科学の主要な研究方法の柱である。本研究課題では，まず，自ら認知モデルを構成しながら，モデルベースの認知科学を学ぶための先進的学習環境を構築し，認知科学の授業での利用に供した。本学習環境は，全国規模で運用されるサーバ・クライアント型システムとして構築され，いつでも，どこからでも，メンテナンスフリーで使用することが可能である。さらに，「学習ツール」としてのモデルの機能を明らかにした。具体的には，モデルを作る過程を通して，モデル作成者が，自分自身の心的過程をモニターする「メタ認知スキル」を獲得するようになることを，実験と実践の両面から明らかにした。
