研究概要

本研究はアジア諸国の生命倫理を、三層構造分析によって解明することをめざしている。分析の方法は（１）医療や生命科学の現場での判断や医療実践の現状、（２）医療や生命科学の現場に指針を与える具体的原理、（３）具体的原理の根拠となる基礎的概念や原理、という「三層」の関係を体系的に探るものである。
H２５年度は、H２３年度、２４年度の全体テーマ「終末期医療」、「生殖医療」に加わえて「臓器移植」の領域に三層構造分析を適用するとともに全体の総括を試みた。具体的には、中国、韓国、イラン、インド、タイ、パキスタン、フィリピン、ロシア、バングラデシュの生命倫理研究者による調査研究と、それらと連携して法的観点や普遍的原理の観点等を分担する日本人研究者による研究を実施し、H２５年１２月７日・８日に熊本大学において、研究分担者と協力者が一堂に会する科研費研究国際セミナーを開催し、それぞれの研究成果を発表した。その発表内容は論文化され、Eubios Journal of Asian and International Bioethics に掲載された。本研究は、普遍的視点とローカルな視点の両者を不可欠とする生命倫理研究にとってきわめて大きな意義を有している。特に、普遍的原理を両側から挟む、具体的で文化的・ローカルレベルと、普遍的原理の基礎にある抽象的あるいは宗教的レベルとの複雑で興味深い関係の究明は、応用倫理一般の研究にとっても有意義である。このことは今年度の研究でも再確認され、生命倫理の諸原理や制度がアジア諸国において、普遍的原理とともにそれぞれの文化的宗教的背景のもとに普及していること、また、イスラム諸国の間でも生命倫理の減速や制度にきわめて大きな相違がみられること等を見出すことができた。さらに、三層構造の外にあり三層構造の在り方に影響を及ぼす因子として経済的状況の重要性が確認された。
