I researched etale motivic cohomology of smooth and proper schemes over algebraically closed fields, finite fields, and local fields, and wrote a paper giving structure results on this. In the same paper I also proved a duality result for integral etale motivic cohomology over such fields. The paper has been submitted for publication.
In joint work with Alexander Schmidt (Heidelberg), we are trying to use my duality theorem for non-smooth schemes to prove a Tate-Poitou sequence for schemes over a global field. This has been previously studied by Shuji Saito in the smooth case, but we try to prove this for arbitrary schemes of finite type. We have made good progress, and expect to produce a preprint within this year.
