研究概要

ショウジョウバエの雄減数分裂細胞は、サイズが大きく、分裂後期以降の解析にも適している。この細胞内で波長の異なる蛍光タグで細胞内の構造を標識し、それらの動態を同時観察できるようにした。また、メンブレントラフィックの関連遺伝子1030個を選び、精母細胞においてノックダウンさせ影響を調べた。その結果、小胞輸送に必要なCOPI、COPIIが細胞質分裂に必要なことがわかった。前者は細胞質分裂の開始に必須なタンパクや脂質を分裂溝に集積させるのに、後者は収縮環を細胞膜に固定するのに必要なことがわかった。一方、幼虫期神経芽細胞の分裂にはこれらは必要ではなかった。膜系構造が発達した精母細胞に特異的と考えられる。
