研究概要

mRNAの翻訳や安定性の制御の解明には、そのmRNAがどのような蛋白質と複合体（mRNP）になっているかを知ることが重要である。本研究ではこれまでにアフリカツメガエル卵母細胞から同定したmRNP構成蛋白質RAP55/Lsm14とP100/Pat1蛋白質の解析を進めた。RAP55と機能的に関わる蛋白質を探索する目的で、RAP55との共局在、高発現での顆粒形成への影響、RAP55の顆粒からの消失、を指標にしたスクリーニングをおこなった。P100が卵成熟過程で消失する機構を知るためP100の点変異体を作製し、安定性に影響する部位を同定した。
