研究概要

超音波による細胞内DNA二本鎖切断の誘発をリン酸化ヒストンH2AXおよびコメット法おけるテールの伸長の観察により、初めて証明した。DNA 二本鎖切断は、超音波キャビテーション発生と相関し、そのメカニズムとしてキャビテーションによるフリーラジカル生成(放射線類似作用)によるものではなく、機械的作用によるものと思われる。また、修復に係る蛋白質は放射線によるものとは異なることが判明した。
