研究概要

非平衡成長パターンの疑似解の構成にあたり，興奮場における自発的スパイラル形成を取り上げた．上山らは，光BZ反応による実験や数値計算によって，非一様なミクロ状態がマクロなスパイラル形成に与える影響を調べた．二宮らは，FitzHugh-Nagumo方程式の疑似解として，wave front interaction model を取り上げ，回転スポット解，回転スパイラル解などの構成を行った．これらの研究をもとに，FitzHugh-Nagumo型方程式の特異極限問題の進行スポット解の構成に成功した．これにより，2次元における自発的スパイラル形成メカニズムが説明できるようになった．
