研究概要

本研究の目的は、水質保全・生態系保全・災害リスク軽減・貧困削減など多面的視点から生態系サービスの支払制度(PES)を拡張し、途上国の持続可能な流域管理に向けた制度設計をおこなうことである。フィリピンのシラン-サンタ・ロザ流域を対象とした分析の結果、多くの農家はPESに参加する意志を有していることが示された。また、PESにおける支払制度として、農家によって異なる金額を支払う方法(flexible payment)を採択することにより費用対効果が大幅に向上することが示された。
