研究概要

天体衝突で発生する蒸気量を決定する物理量を決定するために2段式軽ガス銃を用いた開放系気相化学分析手法を開発した。提案手法を炭酸塩岩に適用し、幅広い衝撃圧力で発生脱ガス量を計測した。実験結果と広く用いられるEntropy methodによる発生蒸気量の推定値を比較したところ、良い一致を示した。これは発生蒸気量が衝撃圧縮に伴うエントロピー増加量によって支配されるということを示す初めての実験的根拠である。
