| 研究概要 |
My research achievements are, listed according to the original research plan, 1 I conducted pilot surveys and interviews to provide the primary data for this research, 2 and 3 I participated in the 2013 AATE/ALEA National Conference held in Brisbane, Australia which provided an introduction to a wide range of appropriate material and current practice, 4 having found since the beginning of this research that MoodleReader has a series of serious flaws and restricts access to many users, the research team completed a new site (mreader) and, during Golden Week of the last year, courses were transferred to the new site. The new site has proved far easier to join, manage and navigate. 5 I have continued to conduct interviews to check appropriateness of new material.

理由
There are two principal reasons for the delay in the research. First of all, the switch from MoodleReader to mreader was unanticipated in the original research plan, and has taken up a great deal of time. (It should be noted, however, that the switch has proved very beneficial across the board.) The second reason is the poor response to the pilot studies, likely due to the extensive changes in curriculum and consequent changes in use of extensive reading currently going on at Kyoto Sangyo University. These changes have now, for the most part, settled down, and so the concept of the original research plan should be able to be carried out in the coming year.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
The original plan is still, for the most part, in place. However, the collection of data, which was originally planned for this past year and coming year, may have to extend into the following year. In addition, events in the local library system have proved promising, and if things continue in the current direction, collection of data from normal members of the public may also be possible.
