一酸化炭素結合型ヘモグロビン小胞体の特発性肺線維症新規治療薬としての有用性評価

研究概要

一酸化炭素 (CO) 結合型ヘモグロビン小胞体 (CO-HbV) の適応疾患候補として、有効な治療薬が存在しない難治疾患である特発性肺線維症 (IPF) への有用性をブレオマイシン (BLM) 誘発IPFマウスモデルを用い評価した。その結果、CO-HbVはBLM誘発IPFマウスモデルの肺線維化及び肺機能の低下を有意に抑制した。また、CO-HbV投与により気管支肺胞洗浄液中の白血球浸潤、肺組織中の炎症性サイトカイン産生、活性酸素の産生の抑制、更には線維化因子の一つであるTGF-βの発現を抑制した。以上の結果より、CO-HbVはIPFの新規治療薬になりうる可能性が示された。
