研究概要

K３曲面や代数曲線のモジュライ空間および、関連したIV型モジュラー多様体の双有理型を研究した。有理性と一般型性の双方で結果を得ることができた。前者については、以下の代数多様体のモジュライ空間が有理的であることを証明した：対合付きK３曲面（２つの例外を除く）、トリゴナル曲線、テトラゴナル曲線（約半分の種数）。後者については、漸次改良の末に次を証明した：安定直交群から定まる１５次元以上のIV型モジュラー多様体であって一般型にならないものは有限個しかない。つまりほとんど全て一般型になる。
