1.Chemical analysis of five different Mongolian fly ashes was done. Accordingly, a large difference of SiO2 and CaO contents was found. Large difference of insoluble matter content in hydrochloric acid was also found. However, compressive strength dependence on these chemical properties was not yet understood. 2.With only the specific type of fly ash, the flow properties of concrete increases with increasing the fly ash replacement ratio. It gives advantages of reducing water content and admixture, basically making concrete stronger and economical. 3.In general, fly ash replacement up to 60% of total cementitious content gives fairly similar strength properties with control mix proportion. 4.While early strength of all fly ash incorporated mixtures is lower than the control, 30% and 40% fly ash replaced mixtures have shown slightly accelerated strength development after 7 days, overpassing the control concrete. 5.40% fly ash replacement is the ideal dosage, which gives the highest strength, while dramatically reducing the CO2 emission. Such concrete emits only 197 kg/m3 of CO2 due to cement use that is more than 40% reduction with compare to control concrete.
