[The outline of Complete count survey] Objectives:To collect the guidelines related to the workplace harassment at universities in Japan. Survey Targets:All of the universities, the colleges, the postgraduate schools in Japan. Survey Type:Complete count survey.Survey Period:From 3rd October 2013 to the beginning of December 2013. Survey Methods:Mailing.Departments the questionnaire was sent was the General Office,“Soumuka”that usually take in charge of the questionnaire response. [The process of the survey] 1137 universities, colleges, postgraduate schools recognized in the lists of the Japanese Ministry of Education and some major cram schools in Japan. Number of the questionnaire distributed :1131. Number of schools excluded from the analysis : 6. Exemption: 1 night school and 4 closed schools . 3 schools integrated into 1 are counted 1. [The items of the questionnaire] Basic items:8 items. 1.The types of the schools: 4 items. 2.The location areas of the schools: 2 items. 3.The number of students by sex and by the field of studies: 2 items. Main items:5 items- the documents related to the harassment prevention, the possession of the guidelines, the possession of any other documents, the types of the documents;paper, electrical file, or both, the accessibility of the documents;open or closed. [The results] The questionnaire distributed:1131, The number of respondents : 394,The response rate : 34.8%. The number of documents collected:168 out of 394. Response rate: 42.6%. The total number of the documents related to the harassment prevention:347.
