| 研究実績の概要 |
2016度も、過年度同様、充実した研究活動ができた。4月には、 International Symposium on Negotiating Identities: Mixed Race Individuals in China, Japan and Korea (University of San Francisco, USA)に招待され、論文 “Mixed Race Experiences During the Meiji and Taisho Eras of Japan”を発表した。5月には、 “Haafu Identities Inside and Outside of Advertisement”が Asian Pacific Perspectives (Vol.14, No.2, 83-101：査読論文)に掲載された。夏期には、長年の希望であった、島嶼部における混血の人々への聞き取り調査を行うことができ、今までにない興味深いお話を伺うことができた。10月には、日本比較文化学会例会で、「パンパンと戦争花嫁：二言説を紡ぐ試論」を発表し、2017年2月に、発表の際いただいたご意見を取り入れて開校した同名の査読論文が、『比較文化研究』（No.25, 1-12)に掲載された。11月には、 18th International Conference on Languages, Literature, and Linguistics において、”A Study on Children’s Literature for Multiracial Asian American Children”を発表した。同11月には、アジア系アメリカ文学研究会例会において、「19世紀アジア系混血作家の声：スイシンファーとキャスリーン・タマガワ・エルドリッジの比較分析」を発表した。
