研究実績の概要 |
In 2016 fiscal year, our main work was focused on improvements of personal data in collection for a more efficient Cyber-I platform and models of personal behaviors which are base for modeling Cyber-I.
We have proposed a context-aware scheduling mechanism that is able to dynamically adjust the data collection schedule based on varying situations of wearable condition, network availability, computing resource and user state. This context-aware scheduling mechanism has implemented in a smartphone-based system to collect personal data from multiple wearables and upload the gathered data to a server/cloud. The efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed scheduling mechanism have been verified by the actual data collection using the developed system.
The precision and integrity of current automatic personality perception is very important for the elaborate modeling in Cyber-I. Due to the heterogeneity of personal data, it is critical to classify the mass of personal data to valuable knowledge for sufficient personality perception. Therefore, we have focused on designing scenario-based ontic personae as various individuals’ facets in different situations for automatic personality perception.

理由
The most research in FY 2016 has been done as we expected, but the system integration and its performance needs to be further tested and refined. We have proposed and developed context-aware scheduler that is able to dynamically adjust a data collection schedule based on contingent situations in the condition of wearables, system resource availability and user behavior. Our research has been focused on context data detection and data collection scheduling in a smartphone-based client-server system. The smartphone functions as not only a gateway gathering data from multiple wearables, but also a terminal for the performance of a context-aware scheduler. A context-aware engine is implemented to handle different contextual information. The data quality and system performance have been evaluated and verified in practical experimental tests. However, due to many devices and function modules in the system, more experiments and refinements should be continuously carried out.

We have also proposed a series X-I, such as Weal-I, Web-I, Social-I and Health-I, which are concrete parts of Cyber-I. These results have been published in IEEE Access and international conferences CPSCom, CBD and SMC. However, due to many devices and function modules in the system, more experiments and refinements should be continuously carried out.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
The Cyber-I system is very big and complex in study and development because of more experiments for supporting various devices and application scenarios. In 2016, many wearable devices are available and under integrated into our system. These devices are very important sources to collect rich personal data for more advanced Cyber-I modeling and and wider applications.

次年度使用額の使用計画 |
The remaining budget will be sued mainly in two aspects. The one is to further test and improve the system, and the other is to support publications of our research results in international conferences and journals.
