| 研究実績の概要 |
In 2018 I attended three conferences:
1. 日本哲学、戸別大学. There I met the organizers of the World Congress of Philosophy and received an invitation to the inaugural meeting of Chinese Kant Society to be held in June 2019.
2.Colloquium on Violence and Religion's Annual Conference in Denver, CO. There I participated in a Book Panel concerning Diego Bubbio's "Intellectual Sacrifice and Other Mimetic Paradoxes."
3. 日本カント協会、香川大学. There I was able to meet Japanese Kant scholars and discuss matters.
I published one article, 「ルソー、カント、訓練」in 『日本カント研究』pp. 8-25. Also an article on Kieslowski's "Dekalogue" titled, "Looking for a Scapegoat and Find Oneself".

理由
In 2018 I was both Director of the Library and Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning. I was a member of the highest University Administration, meaning I had many meetings and weekend engagements. Plus I taught almost a full-load. So I had many demands and little time for writing.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
I will go to Beijing in June and present new research on Kant. In particular on the Transcendental Dialectic of the Critique of Pure Reason. Some of the top scholars in the world will be there. I received another Kakenhi this year, so I will continue my research on the relationship between Kant and Rousseau.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
I was too busy with administration to attend conferences last year. This year I will attend the inaugural meeting of the Chinese Kant Society in June, the Colloquium on Violence and Religion in July, the 日本カント協会. I will also try to get to the World Kant Congress in Oslo in the Autumn.
