| 研究実績の概要 |
2016年度はDr Anne Mouron (Regent's Park College, Oxford University)と共同でLiber specialis gratiae の中英語翻訳であるThe Boke of Gostley Grace(Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS Bodley 220)の校訂作業に専念した。また、The Boke of Gostly Grace の抜粋が含まれるreligious anthologiesを調査するとともに、Liber/The Boke を同時代に翻訳されたCatherine of SienaのDialogo / The Orcherd of Syonと比較し、The Boke の特徴を探った。これらの研究はIntroductionやCommentaryに含める予定である。
2016年度の成果は以下の2つの国際学会において報告した。
1. ‘Liber Specialis Gratiae and Devotional Compilations in later Medieval England', at Late Medieval Devotional Compilations in England University of Lausanne)
2. ‘Revelations of “approved women” and their Readership', at The Medieval Translator: The Cardiff Conference on the Theory and Practice of Translation in the Middle Ages (The Austrian Academy of Sciences, Institute for Medieval Research, Vienna)
また、The Boke of Gostely Grace, edited from Oxford, MS Bodley 220 with Introduction and Commentaryの提案書をイギリスの大学出版会に送付した。
