| 研究実績の概要 |
8月23日～9月4日にオーストラリアに研究旅行に行き、次のような資料収集と、開発教育の実情調査を行った。
SydneyにてWorld Visionの開発教育担当者に面会。オーストラリアにおける開発教育、多文化教育の実情を取材。”Global Perspectives: A framework for global education in Australian schools”、”Australia’s engagement with Asia: Indonesia”などWorld Vision発行の開発教育、多文化教育関連の教材を購入。
Adelaideで、Schotch College(中等学校)を訪問、地理教師に面会。授業展開についてインタビューし、オーストラリアにおける開発教育、多文化主義教育の実施状況の一端を垣間見ることができた。たとえば9年生の地理では次のような内容の課題が出されている。Group Task – Migration policy for Australia.You have been asked by the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection to come up with a new migration policy for Australia. The current number of spaces open for migration to Australia each year is 190,000. You will need to determine whether you want to keep the available places the same or increase or decrease it. You must also determine how many of these spaces are available for each type of migrant. Things you will need to consider: Where will these migrants settle (what part of Australia needs migrants)? Can these cities support an increase in population? You might like to relocate some of your migrants to some of the smaller cities of Australia.
メルボルンでは、Immigration MuseumとMelbourne Museumにて多文化主義教育、開発教育の教材を多数収集した。前者では、Leaving and Arrival - Understanding the Waves of Migration to Victoria”など、後者では、” Koorie Studies in SOSE Years 7-10”など。

理由
インドでの開発教育関係の資料収集と実施状況調査を予定していたが、Bihar州等での政情不安が外務省の海外安全情報に掲載され、研究旅行が行えなかったため。

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
インドに行けていないので、平成28年度に研究旅行に行く予定である。地理教育の学会で、オーストラリアでの地理教育と開発教育の実情を報告する予定である。最終年なので、インドを対象とした開発教育教材の完成を目指す。

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
インドに研究旅行に行くことができなかったので、物品購入に回そうとしたが、発注システムが変更になったこともあって、年度末近くになって時間的に物品購入が困難となり、年度内に消化できなかった。

| 次年度使用額の使用計画 |
次年度の当初予定の使用計画に加えて、インドへの研究旅行に使用予定。
