研究実績の概要 |
Various functional porphyrinoids have been investigated and their properties were studied exceedingly. As a result, five publications regarding this context have been published in the last fiscal year. Dithia-/diaza-porphyrins and their metal complexes have been investigated and published. As an useful hybrid-compound, bodipy-linked hexaphyrins were investigated. Interesting photodynamics of the hydrids was examined and reported. A stable and the smallest antiaromatic porphyrinoide, norcorrole has been greatly performed charge/discharge processes. The result was published as a hot paper.

理由
Initial plans for 2014 followed by 2015 were progressed smoothly and the results were published in highly ranked, international chemistry-journals. Also, studies on applications for the functional porphyrinoids were progressed and reported properly.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
Investigation of useful porphyrinoids as well as their application will be focused mainly in the corresponding pascal year. Rechargeable batteries with high capacity and stability are an important technology. On the basis of the reasonably good battery performances obtained with a stable antiaromatic porphyrin, Ni(II)norcorrole as an electrode-active material, various distinct porphyrinoids will be explored for practical batteries to establishing better performances and functions. In this context, the free-base/metal porphyrinoids prepared during the last fiscal year and other porphyrinoids either commercially available or easy to prepare will be examined. Also, functional porphyrinoids keep trying to be investigated and multi-redox behaviors and electrochemical properties of those compounds will be studied exceedingly.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
During the last fiscal year, the applicant have planed to attend one international conference, initially. However, a tight schedule for both research and education of students couldn't go properly following the initial plan.

次年度使用額の使用計画 |
Currently, our collaborator has moved the work place from Nagoya University to Kansai Gakuin University. Accordingly, the applicant needs additional travel expenses in next fiscal year, to advance the collaboration. The incurring amount will be used for the cost.

備考 |
Most antiaromatic compounds are unstable and difficult to prepare for use in practical applications. Rechargeable batteries using an antiaromatic compound―Ni(II)norcorrole was first developed.
