Part of my study was read at a research seminar held at the University of Birmingham, UK, on 25 Sept 2014. The title of my presentation was "A Digital Humanities Analysis of Christianity in the 19th-Century British Fiction."
The following are the papers written in 2014 and to be published in 2015.

A few of the unique discoveries made by my Digital Humanities research into Christianity in the 19th-century British fiction are as below: (a) Gaskell, C. Bronte, E. Bronte, and A. Bronte all use the word "God" more frequently than "Christ." (b) C. Bronte's use of God-related words is most frequent among the four authors. (c) Among C. Bronte's eight effect-size keywords, seven are relevant to nature, and only "spirit" to the Christian creed.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
The first reason is probably my unfamiliarity with the way of using the Research grant money, since this was my first experience of winning it. Secondly, no personnel expenditure and remuneration were spent, since most of the manual works were done by myself to save money. Thirdly, sufficient money must be reserved for 2015 when I am planning to attend an international conference, which will cost more than 300,0000 yen. Fourthly, the indirect costs were unspent for the purchase of a high-quality portable PC to be placed in Media Seminar Room I in 2015.

I am planning to (a) attend some academic conferences to read papers, including an international conference, (b) pay the cost for publishing my paper, and (c) buy some books on Digital Humanities.
