研究概要

本研究では次の新しい装置(1.過渡的ラマン散乱装置、2.サブピコ秒二重励起分光装置、3.レ-ザ-誘起原子放出測定装置、4.イオンビ-ム表面解析装置)を試作し、新しい角度から、種々の系における電子励起誘起原子過程を統一的に明らかにすることを目的とする。本年度得られた成果は次の通りである。
1.サブピコ秒レ-ザ-パルスによるハロゲン化アルカリ自己捕獲励起子と欠陥生成実験 KBrとKIについてサブピコ秒レ-ザ-パルスで2光子吸収によって電子・正孔対を生成しそれに続く光吸収変化を観測した。これにより、KIについて最低状態への脱励起後への脱励起が極めて速やかに生じること、また最低状態断熱ポテンシャル曲線の2つの最小値の間の振動を観測した。またKBrについては、振動励起状態での光吸収また非平衡状態から自己捕獲励起子最低状態およびF中心への脱励起を観測した。
2.さらにRbIの自己捕獲励起子共鳴ラマン散乱の測定に成功し、そのハロゲン伸縮振動の周波数がH中心のそれに近いことを示した。この結果と昨年度得たNaClに関する同様の結果を合わせて自己捕獲励起子の原子構造に関する新しいモデルを提案した。
3.レ-ザ-照射による半導体表面からの原子放出GaP表面のレ-ザ-照射により、表面格子欠陥に起因するGa原子の放出の励起スペクトルを求め、表面状態の励起が原子放出に最も有効であることを示した。
