研究概要

1.視床ニュ-ロンに含まれる神経ペプチドの免疫組織学的研究。
ラットの大脳皮質運動野に軸索を送る視床外側腹側核ニュ-ロンを逆行性HRP法で同定した切片について、VIPないしCCKの免疫組織化学的染色を行った。大脳皮質へ投射する視床外側腹側核ニュ-ロンのなかにはVIPないしCCKの免疫活性を示すものが多数あること、また、これらのニュ-ロンのなかにはVIPとCCKの両方の免疫活性を示すものがあること、等を証明した。
2.S物質(SP)、エンケファリン(ENK)、ないしセロトニン(5HT)を含む神経線維の集中的入力形成についての研究。
抗SP-、抗ENK-、抗5HT-抗体をそれぞれ異なる蛍光物質で標識した後、これらを用いて、ネコのオヌフ核や三叉神経中脳路核について、三重免疫組織化学的染色を行い、これらの神経核への多重性入力について検当を加えた。
3.グルタミン酸作動性ニュ-ロン系についての免疫組織化学的研究。
抗グルタミナ-ゼ単クロ-ン抗体を作製し、これを用いて、ラットの下位脳幹と小脳について、グルタミナ-ゼの免疫活性を示すニュ-ロンの分布を免疫組織化学的に検討した。また、一部のカテコ-ルアミンニュ-ロンやセロトニンニュ-ロンがグルタミナ-ゼの免疫活性を示すことを証明した。
