研究概要

1.量子クロモカ学(QCD)を基礎に非摂動的効果をとり入れる手法としてインバ-ジョン法を開発して、カイラル対称性の破れおよびカラ-自由度の閉じこめの機構を研究しカラ-電磁束を具体的に求める、クォ-ク間に働く力のバネ係数を得た。
2.低エネルギ-領域の有効理論である非線形シグマ模型とQCDとの関係をヴェス・ズミノ項などを手がかりに研究した。また、ブリ-ジングモ-ドの量子化によるソリトンの安定化の可能性の模索および湯川相互作用および核力を導出し従来の理論との比較がおこなわれ、H粒子などストレンジネスを持つ系への適用が進められた。
3.格子ゲ-ジ理論にもとづいて、様々な近似法を用いてゲ-ジ理論の相構造、カイラル対称性が自発的に破れた相とその破れが回復する相との間の相転移が起きる臨界点、およびこの相転移の種類がしらべられた。また電算機を用いたシミュレ-ションによるQCDの研究を発展させた。
4.有限温度のQCDにもとづいてクォ-クグル-オン・プラズマや高密度物質の研究が宇宙の初期過程のモデルと関連しておこなわれた。
5.SLC,LEPなどの新しい実験結果と合せてCP不変性の破れ、ボトム粒子の崩壊、トップ・クォ-クの質量、ワインバ-グ角などの関連した研究がおこなわれた。またQCDを含む相互作用と物質の統一模型、標準模型を超える理論の模索がコンフォ-マル場の理論、超弦模型などとも合せて研究された。
