研究概要

1.イオンビ-ムや電子ビ-ムによるプラズマ不安定波の成長過程におけるソリトンの役割が明らかにされた。特に、後者ではソリトン生成による不安定モ-ドの安定化が示され、実験も行なわれた。
2.新しい粒子加速機構として、大振幅磁気音波による共鳴加速を提唱し、太陽フレア-における短時間内での粒子加速を説明した。
3.磁力線に沿って伝播する非線形アルフベン波の特性を「微分型非線形シュレディンガ-方程式」を用いて研究し、その効期値問題と発生するソリトンの個数との関係を明らかにした。
4.ダブルプラズマ発生装置を用いて、ポンプ波の周期倍化現象や電子プラズマ波の高調波励起等のカオス的振舞いを観測した。
5.散逸項を含む「非線形シュレディンガ-方程式」を例にとり、摂動の影響下における多ソリトン状態の性質を明らかにした。
6.ドリフト波に対して渦系近似を行ない、その動的、統計的性質を明らかにした。特に、渦系の拡散係数を解析的に求めることに成功した。
7.磁力線や粒子軌道のトポロジ-的空間配位を識別する問題(総び目理論)において、より強力な新しい絡み目多項式がソリトン理論から構成できることを明らかにした。
8.不均一密度の磁化プラズマ中にお刑るドリフト波の伝播特性や自然励起波の性質が調べられた。磁場に対して右ねじ方向のEXBドリフトのシアを与え、小電極励起子に正のパルスを加えたところ、正電位のドリフト波パルスの伝播が観測された。ソリトン的性質を持っている。
9.イオン波ソリトンの反射及び透過現象の観測と解析、大振幅イオン波の励起手法の開発が行なわれた。
10.サイクロトロン運動する粒子に、磁場に垂直に伝播する静電波を加えた場合、位相空間に薄いストカスティック層が形成される事を示した。
