液相化学反応への分子レベルからの新しいアプロ-チ

研究概要	本研究グル-プの目標は、溶媒を連続体としてではなく実態のある分子として捕えて溶媒効果を議論することである。そのために下記のようなアプロ-チを数名ずつのグル-プで行ない、それらを研究会を通じて統一的に議論することを試みた。 (1)クラスタ-を用いる方法…少数分子クラスタ-では、平衡構造を分光学的に決定し、更に平衡構造の周りでの溶媒分子の動きを解析し(土屋)、比較的大きなクラスタ-イオンについては熱力学諸量の測定(平岡)や光分解生成フラグメントの検出(近藤)、更に原子との衝突によるフラグメンテ-ション(尾崎)などの情報から構造を推定することができた。これらの構造デ-タを基礎として、プロトン移動反応(伊藤・富宅)やクラスタ-内イオン分子反応(三上・鷲田)の詳細を検討した。また溶質分子の幅射寿命についても研究した(平山)。 (2)超臨界流体を用いる方法…超臨界流体中にある溶質分子は、流体分子によったあたかもクラスタ-のように周囲をとり囲まれている。このような状況下での2分子会含反応(中原)や電荷移動状態生成反応(梶本)の速度定数が求められた。 (3)液体流を用いる方法…水溶液を真空中に噴出してフラグメント化し、液相での構造を決定する方法を開発した(西)。 (4)溶液中の溶媒分子の重きを見る方法…ザブピユ秒での電荷移動反応や光イオン化に伴う分子の運動を実験的(岡田・小川)あるいは理論計算(大峰・加藤)によって追跡した。 (5)マトリックスを用いる方法…柔軟性マトリックスに囲まれたラジカルイオンの反応の研究(志田)を通して溶媒分子の働きを研究した。研究会は2度にわたって行ない、上記のアプロ-チについて問題点や到達点が明らかになり、今後の研究進展のための指針が得られた。
