両生類の系統についての内分泌学的アプロ-チ

研究概要

明らかにされた重要な事実をあげよう。一つは両生類では哺乳類や鳥類と同じように生殖刺激ホルモンの分子は瀘胞刺激ホルモンに黄体形成ホルモンの2種に分化していても哺乳類、鳥類とは異なって、これらのホルモンの受容体のホルモン結合部位は未分化で、両ホルモンを区別できないことである。すなわち両生類では進化の過程でこれらのホルモン分子の分化は完全におこっていても、受容体分子の分化は不完全であり、少くともこの場合、受容体分子の分化はホルモン分子の分化よりおくれて生じるといえよう。
さらに、生殖腺刺激ホルモンと受容体との結合性からみると、ウシガエルやヒキガエルはアフリカツメガエルとは縁が遠く、アフリカツメガエルは有尾両生類に近いこと、また、有尾両生類とアフリカツメガエルは魚類よりも哺乳類や鳥類に似ていることなどが明らかとなった。
生殖腺刺激ホルモンの化学構造、プロラクチンの化学構造、プロラクチンのcDNAの構造からみると、両生類は魚類よりも、哺乳類に近いと結論された。
しかし、両生類にはそれ独特の特徴、たとえば生殖腺刺激ホルモンが肝臓に作用してアデニルシクラ-ゼを活性化し、何らかの生理作用を果していること、また、精巣の生殖腺刺激ホルモン結合部位には、二種のホルモンを区別する性質はないが、一方が他方の競合阻害をおこさないようにする特別な機構が受容体に存在することも判明した。
以上、両生類と哺乳類・鳥類とのへだたりは魚類とのへだたりほど大きくないこと、両生類の中でも、アフリカツメガエルの類は他の無尾類よりも有尾類に近いこと、両生類にはいくつかの独特な特徴があることなどが結論された。
