Outline of Annual Research Achievements

超新星1987Aの親星モデルを用いて、超新星コアにおける空間3次元のニュートリノ輻射流体シミュレーションを実行した。その結果、バウンス後が衝撃波が一旦、失速した後、ニュートリノ加熱とそれが駆動する対流により後押しされ、衝撃波が復活し、爆発していく様子を再現することが出来た。爆発時に放射される重力波の定量的予測も行い、銀河中心の超新星に関しては、LIGO-Virgo-KAGRAネットワーク観測感度内に入っていることを明らかにした。特に重力波の振動数・強度解析を行うことで、原始中性子星(生まれたての中性子星)が丸く伸び縮みする基準振動モードの観測可能性が最も高いことを示した。そのうえで、このようなバースト型重力波探索に不可欠な短い待ち時間での観測データ転送に対応し、KAGRA-LIGO-Virgo重力波望遠鏡の観測データを低レイテンシ(~10sec)で転送することを実現した。また、超新星爆発からの数値シミュレーションによる重力波の解析を行い、爆発機構の解明に重要な周波数モードをヒルベルト-ファン変換を用いて初めて抽出した。従来のフーリエ変換に基づく解析に比べ、定在降着衝撃波不安定性に起因する重力波成分と原始中性子星の形成に関わるモードの周波数変化より定量的に正確に評価できたことが成果である。重力波望遠鏡周辺で起こる振動現象は、超新星爆発からの重力波といった突発性重力波を検出する際に検出効率を下げることが知られている。この問題を克服すべく、即時特定の手法を提案し、その有効性を示した。また、突発性重力波の偏光観測による重力理論のテストを行う上で問題となる偏光間の染み出しを解析し、相対論以外の重力理論で現れる偏向の検出限界についても調べることができた。
