Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本計画研究は、「第1段階（H29・30年度）：はやぶさ2探査での観測データの取得準備、近傍観測」、「第2段階（H31・32年度）：微惑星・水惑星・氷衛星のの水・物質循環に関する地球科学データの抽出」、「第3段階（H33年度）：微惑星・水惑星・氷衛星の水・物質循環モデルの構築」からなる。
H29年度は小惑星リュウグウへの到着に備えた観測・データ処理準備を行った。（１）熱物性・地形観測チームは、観測データの処理・解析ツールの準備模擬訓練に加え、熱物性モデルおよび天体形状モデルの構築準備を行った。さらに米国アリゾナ大学・カリフォルニア工科大学と共同で、画像処理技術と形状モデル作成技術を改良した。（2）衝突実験チームは、リュウグウの表面状態を模擬した試料を用い衝突実験を行った。模擬試料に含まれる構成粒子の種類・サイズ・空隙率・結合強度を系統的に変化させた実験を行い、衝突クレーター孔のサイズと放出物の速度分布の標的依存性を決定した。（３）可視・近赤外分光チームは、観測データの処理・解析ツールの準備・模擬訓練に加え、リュウグウ模擬試料および、存在が予想されうる全ての鉱物種に関し、実験室内においてレファレンスとなる分光データを取得した。

はやぶさ2探査が計画通りに進んでいるため、その解析および成果発表とも予定通り進んでいる。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

はやぶさ２の解析が本格化するため、PDを当初の予定通り、H３０年からは4名に増加し、探査運用およびデータ解析の効率化を図る。分担者は引き続き、はやぶさ２に関連したデータ解析業務に集中する。
