Research Abstract

本研究は、高速処理と高度なデータマイニングを可能にするデジタル・ネットワークを基盤として、オープン・イノベーションを通じた社会進化を促し、それを戦略的にガバナンスするための社会的基盤を構想するために、理論的・実証的な研究を行い、具体的な政策提言を行うことを目的としている。予防医療、地域情報、電子行政という社会的重要性が大きく、地域社会の共創的発展について考察するのに適した領域を研究フィールドに定め、それらの研究を情報爆発を克服する知識経済社会の共創的発展の研究として統合する。本研究は、最先端情報科学の研究と社会科学的知見を相互作用させ、情報爆発を克服する知識社会発展に向けたプロセス・ガバナンスについて研究する。その成果は、学術的に新たな研究方向を創出するだけではなく、社会的、政策的に利用可能性が高く、きわめて社会的意義も高いと考えている。
