Outline of Annual Research Achievements

「Fe基多元系合金の相安定性の検討」Cr濃度勾配を持つFe-35Ni-Cr合金拡散対試料の窒化挙動を調査し,ハイスループットでの相安定性と硬化挙動の検討を行った.TEM, APTおよびThermoCalcを利用した相分離の熱力学的検討により,5~20at%Cr以上の組成領域で低温窒化時にCr-N間の引力相互作用に起因したスピノーダル分解が生じるが,Cr濃度がより高くなるとスピノーダル領域から外れ,窒化物析出が起こることが示唆された.
「非晶質・固溶体での短範囲規則性」元素の短配位規則性を解明できる異常散乱法を利用し,非晶質合金,近接番号の共存する金属結晶,酸化物結晶,硫化物などの規則配列の解明を試みた.Hf-Ni系非晶質合金では四面体連結構造および八面体構造の二種類の短配位規則性の存在を示した.MS2構造中の遷移元素の占有率が共有結合性の高いS-S原子間距離に関して特別な効果を生み出すことを見出し,近接原子番号の元素が共存する試料で特に八面体位置の占有度を明確化した.
「微細結晶粒ハイエントロピー合金の構造組成分析」微細粒合金Fe20Co20Ni20Cr20B20-xSix (x =5~15)での大体積APT濃度解析から,x=5ではNi-SiリッチFCC相とCr2Bの二相,高濃度合金はCr3Ni5Si2も含む三相であることを明らかにした.
「TiVZrMoTa合金の空孔移動・形成エネルギーの評価」BCC系ハイエントロピー合金TiVZrMoTaで,陽電子寿命法により移動エネルギーはCrMnFeCoNi合金と同程度,第一原理計算より空孔形成エネルギーの全原子種の平均値はCantor合金よりやや低いことを見出した.高融点元素を含む場合でも空孔形成エネルギーが低いのは,近接原子との結合力が低いことに加え,平均二乗変位が大きく,構造緩和によるエネルギー利得が大きいためと考えられた.
