| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
最終年度も新規分子性固体の開拓と解析を進めた。フラーレンや分子末端にカルコゲン原子を持つ分子を用いた錯体開拓を行った。並行して、(EDO-TTF)2PF6のドナーの一部を塩素置換した形の混晶を作製し、母物質では見られなかった電荷不均化状態を発現させた。また、母物質が示す超高速・高効率の光誘起相転移について、0.4 ピコ秒の時間分解能を持つ電子線回折実験を行い、分子性結晶の超高速動的過程の構造変化を解析した。
分担者(御崎)らは、ドナー・アクセプター型電荷移動錯体(EtDTET)(TCNQ)を作製し、結晶構造と導電性・磁性を明らかにした。この錯体はドナー層がβ型の分子配列、アクセプター層がβ'型の分子配列である分離積層構造を取っている。磁化率の測定において3.5 Kで大きな反磁性磁化率が確認され、この錯体が純有機超伝導体であることが判った。純粋な有機物からなる超伝導体の報告例は極めて少なく、これが第3の例である。
分担者(藤原)は、蛍光性置換基を持つTTF誘導体を合成し光機能性を開拓した。ベンゾチアゾール、ヒドロキシキノリン、金属キノリナート錯体などを組込んだ複合分子の構造と物性を評価した。また、アミドスペーサーやヒドロキシキノリン部位を有する複合分子について光電変換機能性の応用を目指した色素増感太陽電池を作製し、これらが0.7 %程度の変換効率で太陽電池として動作することを見いだした。
分担者(森田)は、電子スピン非局在型中性ラジカルであるトリオキソトリアンギュレン(TOT)の各種の誘導体を短段階で合成する収束的合成手法を開拓した。TOT骨格に結合させた各種の置換基の電子的性質に起因する分子内自由度を詳細な測定や解析から明らかにした。また、TOTのπ電子系をさらに拡張した安定な中性ラジカルの合成や、混合原子価状態を持つTOT一次元カラム構造体の構築に成功した。
