Research Abstract

本研究は活性酸素(ROS)のシグナル機能の解明を目的に、細胞制御における活性酸素応答ホスファターゼの機能と役割と、ROSの産生制御機構の解明をおこなう。具体的には、(1)腫瘍壊死因子(TNFα)によるROSの産生機構、(2)活性酸素応答ホスファターゼによる活性酸素シグナルからリン酸化シグナルへの変換機構、(3)ROSによるNF-κBと活性酸素応答ホスファターゼを介したタンパク質分解・遺伝子発現系の制御機構、(4)活性酸素シグナルの制御異常と疾患との連関について解析し、炎症や発癌における活性酸素シグナルの役割を解明する。
