Research Abstract

様々なリガンド刺激で誘発される生理応答(例えば受容体の発現調節)におけるシグナル蛋白質の酸化的機能修飾の役割を明らかにする。具体的には、細胞外ヌクレオチドや細菌毒素が細胞膜上の受容体を刺激することで生成される活性酸素種(ROS)や一酸化窒素(NO)によって局所的に機能修飾を受ける細胞質タンパク(活性酸素受容体)を特定し,ROS/NO生成酵素との相互作用を示す。また、特定した活性酸素受容体の心血管病における役割を明らかにする。これにより、ROS/NOシグナルソーム形成の意義を明らかにする。
