Outline of Annual Research Achievements

新しい原始ブラックホール形成を導くインフレーションモデルとして,インフラトンにもう一つのスカラー場が結合し,非自明な運動項を持つモデルを提案した.このモデルによって得られる初期揺らぎは特徴的な非ガウス性を持ち,原始ブラックホールがダークマターの主な要素となるようなパラメータ設定においては,同時に誘起される2次重力波によるモデル検証が可能となることを示した.また,上記のモデルとは独立に,インフラトンポテンシャルが小さなステップ関数的な形を含む場合,それによって揺らぎの1点分布関数のテール部分が大きく影響を受け,原始ブラックホール量を大きく左右することを示した.
これまでの原始ブラックホール形成シミュレーションは宇宙初期の曲率揺らぎをもとにした計算しかなされて来なかった.本研究では初めて,無質量スカラー場による等曲率揺らぎからの原始ブラックホール形成シミュレーションを行い,確かに原始ブラックホールが形成されることを示した.これによって,原始ブラックホール量に対する観測的制限から無質量スカラー場の等曲率揺らぎに対して,観測的制限がつけられることを示した.
重力波によって観測されているブラックホール連星が原始ブラックホール起源であると仮定した場合に,波形から直接求められるブラックホール連星の実効的スピンパラメータと質量比がどのような確率分布になるかを解析的に見積もった.結論として実効的スピンパラメータが比較的大きな値をもつ確率は非常に低く,現在の観測と統計的に無矛盾であることを示した.

Reason

協力者の辞退により球対称コードを用いた格子細分化法の調査が遅れたものの,年度内に球対称コードについては調査を終え,これを用いた学術論文を出版することができた.非球対称コードへの実装も進んでおり,おおむね順調に進展していると言える.原始ブラックホール形成のモデル構築,数値計算手法の開発,観測への影響についての研究どれも並行して進んでおり,おおむね順調に進展している.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

引き続き各方面において精力的に研究を進めるとともに,開発した数値計算手法を用いた新しいモデルにおける計算や,新たに提唱したモデルの観測的検証方法の提唱,詳細な数値計算結果を用いた観測的検証の精査など,それぞれの方向性を組み合わせた複合的研究を推進する.
非球対称原始ブラックホール形成シミュレーションについては,潮汐トルクによる角運動量の生成が期待される状況でのシミュレーションを行うことで,原始ブラックホールのスピンの見積もりを,非線形ダイナミクスを考慮した形で与える.
これまでの研究で初期揺らぎに非ガウス性がある場合,II型揺らぎと呼ばれるこれまでに考えられてこなかった揺らぎのプロファイルからの原始ブラックホール形成(II型原始ブラックホール形成)が重要になることがわかってきた.今後II型原始ブラックホール形成についての数値計算手法を確立し,II型原始ブラックホールの質量の見積もりを行うことで,観測的検証方法の提案につなげる.
状態方程式が輻射流体に比べて柔らかい場合についての原始ブラックホール量や質量分布に与える影響についてこれまで研究が進んでいるので,この新たに得られた知見を基に,効果的な観測手段提案を行う.特に背景重力波への影響を詳しく調べることで将来の重力波観測を原始ブラックホールの制限と組み合わせ,より強力な観測的検証方法を提案する.
