Research Abstract

高精度量子演算を目指して、共振器内の高周波磁場パルス精度を上げるために、任意波形発生器のDA変換の縦分解能不足を時間分解能で補うバンドパス△Σ変調器の設計と数値シミュレーション、クロスダイオードの非線形過渡応答を補償する負帰還学習パルス補償の実験を行った。また、バンド選択パルスの数値最適化を行い、従来のガウシアン・カスケードを凌駕する特性を得た。光励起三重項電子スピンを用いた核スピン量子ビットの初期化、および、それを高速化する重水素デカップリングの実験を行った。単一スピン測定を目指して、高利得までスケーラブルなスピン増幅の実装を研究し、少数の核スピンの情報をスピン拡散を利用して分子の壁を越えて結晶中の多数の核スピンに移動して蓄積することによって、140倍の広義のスピン増幅を実現した。
分子スピン系の電子スピンを量子ビットとして活用するために、2電子間に弱い交換相互作用、及び適当な大きさの電子スピン磁気双極子相互作用をもつ安定ビラジカルを設計・合成した。また、ビラジカルを、望みの濃度でかつ結晶の対称性を保持したままゲスト分子として結晶格子内に化学的に安定に取り込むことができる、反磁性ホスト分子を設計・合成した。希釈ビラジカル結晶系の交換相互作用、及び磁気双極子相互作用をパルス電子-電子二重共鳴(ELDOR)法によって実験的に初めて決定し、量子化学計算の結果と整合することを明らかにした。その結果、分子スピン系電子スピン量子ビットによるCNOTゲート操作を試みることができる静磁場配向を特定することができた。
