Research Abstract |
We have developed technologies for automated recognition and understanding of anatomical structure based on computational anatomical models by computer. Also fusion-aid system for diagnosis and surgery is created by developing advance visualization and multi-information integration. We developed fundamental image processing techniques based on computational anatomy models including multi-organ segmentation, anatomical name understanding, suspicious lesion detection and lymph node detection. Fusion-aid systems for diagnosis and surgery are constructed based on such recognition and understanding results. Furthermore such systems were evaluated in real clinical field.
