| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
沈み込み帯における流体発生条件・化学的特徴の解明を目指して、以下の項目についての研究を行った。
高圧実験： マルチアンビル装置と放射光その場蛍光X線分析によるマントルウェッジ条件でのメルト－流体間の微量元素分配係数を決定し、その岩石学的応用を考察した。北海道岩内岳超塩基性岩体の蛇紋岩化反応の岩石学的解析を行い、蛇紋岩化プロセスの詳細を明らかにした。蛇紋石とH2Oを共存させた高温高圧条件でその場観察を行い、蛇紋岩の脱水分解反応で生成される水流体の化学的性質を解明した。マルチアンビル装置を用いて、マントルウェッジ条件での含水カンラン岩の融解相平衡関係を決定する実験を行った。蛇紋石の弾性派速度速度の減衰を理解するために、周期的に試料に変形を与え、その応答具合を調べる高温高圧その場観察実験を行った。特に、微少な変位を観察するために、高圧試料部構成の最適化に重点をおいた。島弧地殻の代表的鉱物である斜長石の弾性定数を、マルチアンビル装置と放射光X線を組み合わせたパルス法で決定した。
変成岩の解析： 冷たい沈み込み場で形成された地下深部岩石の流体包有物をクラッシュリーチング法で濃集し、Li-B濃度を測定した。それとともに、LA-ICP-MSを用いた含水鉱物の微量成分分析システムを構築した。沈み込み帯における流体の関与した相平衡の酸化還元環境を議論するために，三価の鉄と水の酸化還元を考慮した相平衡図を作成する方法を検討した。この方法を用いて，沈み込み帯のマントルウェッジの加水・脱水時の，水の酸化還元状態と岩石中の三価の鉄を見積った。スラブ内地震の成因を理解するため、過去の沈み込んだスラブ物質である低温高圧型変成岩に記録されている脱水反応と地震性破壊の関係について、最新研究のレヴューと、ローソン石エクロジャイト（コルシカ）、変成かんらん岩（スペイン）の地質調査を行った。
