| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
研究実施計画では以下の6項目を設定した。1.イラン地質調査所アガナバティ名誉研究員が著した「イランおよび周辺国の地質」の翻訳事業、2.イラン西部ケルマンシャーの地質調査、3.オフィオライト研究者の招聘とセミナーの開催、4.全体成果発表のための国際会議の参加、5.研究成果の論文化、6.一般向けの書籍執筆である。
今年度はこれら全項目について実施することができた。1.については、全ページの翻訳を終了することができた。2.は、今年度が最終年度でもあることから、オフィオライトとの密接な産出関係を持つケルマンシャーの放散虫岩の詳細な検討を計画したが、昨夏、ザグロス山脈東部のネイリーズ（詳細な試料収集済み）と東部ケルマンシャー（概査的試料収集済み）の中間に位置するフライダム・シャーに広く放散虫岩の露出する情報が得られ、調査地をフライダム・シャーに変更した（3月実施）。この調査にあたっては、イラン地質調査所の協力を得た。3.研究者招聘とセミナー開催は、イラン地質調査所ポシュタコーヒ上席研究員を招聘し、西アジア文明研究センターでセミナーを開催した（２月実施）。4.のシンポジウム「西アジア文明学の創出２ 古代西アジア文明が現代に伝えること」は３月３日－４日サンシャインシティ文化会館で行われ、久田は「ザグロス山脈から贈られた石器素材」を講演した。5.は現在２論文を作成し、１編目は「The Cenozoic collision along the Zagros Orogen, insights from Cr-spinel and modal analyses」として、論文投稿最終段階である。２編目については「Biostratigraphy of radiolarite in the Iran Zagros Mountains」（仮題）を現在準備中である。6.は「ザグロスの奇跡」（愛智出版）として、２９年度中の出版を目指して編集作業を進めている。
