| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
発達障害は生物学的要因による中枢神経系の機能障害とみなされてきた。しかし、最近の研究は、周産期の異質な経験環境や胎内経験の短縮が発達障害の発症と関連することを示唆している。本計画班の最終目的は、社会的認知に焦点をあてた発達モデルを構築、提案することであり、そのアプローチとして「身体感覚（内―外受容）」の個人差に着目、社会的認知との発達的関連をボトムアップ的に明らかにすることであった。
具体的には、以下の点から実験検証を進めてきた。（１）身体感覚とその発達評価：満期産児および早産・低出生体重児の比較を主軸に、周産期からの自己身体内―外受容感覚の評価と、両者の発達的関連の解明を試みてきた。身体外部刺激への感覚と身体内部感覚の両面を、生理反応（心拍変動・脳神経生理反応、内分泌系変動）や行動指標（注視パターンや自発運動）から多面的に評価した。得られた成果とそれに基づいて提案された仮説は、他の計画班のアプロ―チからも検証を重ねた。（２）周産期からの身体感覚の発達を基盤とした社会的認知の予後と「社会的認知モデル」の構築：表情や視線等の社会的刺激に対する中枢神経系、内分泌系反応、および心理学的認知課題から導き出される行動反応を指標とし、生後３年間にわたる社会的認知機能の発達過程を縦断的、連続的に精査してきた。収集したデータから、周産期からの身体内―外受容感覚との発達的関連を明らかにしてきた。得られた成果とそれにもとづいて提案された仮説は、他の計画班からのアプローチからも検証を重ねた。
本年度は最終成果とりまとめの年度にあたり、実データを中心とした科学論文、モデル提案にかんする総論執筆などの成果発信活動に注力してきた。
