Research Abstract |
Development of social services like social care or houses with care system for aged people to live independently is urgent. During three years research periods, the following results have been obtained. 1. Housing lives of aged people were classified into 5 categories, depending on the levels of the houses and care-services they have. Interviews were carried out to 110 people in 7 facilities for aged. Several problems are revealed in that there are differences between the real situation of service acceptance level and service supply level and the demand for services in the caregorized housing or in local areas, and the degree of independency of lives. 2. By the interview to 61 social workers, public service officers, schalors and people, 30 items which are needed in aged society are correlated and the structure of the problems involved in social service system are clarified by DEMATEL method. The measure for the solution of the problems were investigated for Japanese-type social services. 3. Based on this research and that in Finland, organization for construction of support system for Japanese care service system was investigated.
