Research Abstract |
Temporary catalogues of "Yasukochi Documents" and of "Tables of Molecular Integrals in Manuscript by Kotani-Amemiya-Simose" preserved by "Archival Library" of ISSP (Institute for Solid State Physics) have been made up. It has been ascertained from a statement of Doi's Diary included in "Doi Uzumi Documents" preserved by The Physical Society of Japan that the first day of "Butsurigaku-Rinkokai (Colloquium for Physics)" was18 March 1926, an epoch making date at the dawn of quantum mechanics in Japan. It has been shown that there is a serious difference between Korean and Japanese understanding of the history of the Prototype Meter No.10 and the Prototype Kilogram No.39 exported to Korea from Japan after World-War II, and an essay on this issue was published. Essays on the "Archival Library" of ISSP and on topics in the history of solid state physics, and a book At the Dawn of the Quantum Mechanics in Japan A Document of an Interview with Prof. A.Suzuki, One of the Organizers of the "Butsurigaku-Rinkokai (Colloquium for Physics)" were published.
