| Research Abstract |
本研究は、GPS衛星-低軌道衛星(LEO)による大気掩蔽観測ならびに2つのLEO間の精密range rate測定(L-L SST : Low-Low Satellite to Satellite Tracking)によって得られる重力場データを用い、測地学的な立場から地球環境監視技術の実証ならびに応用研究を目指すものである。データとしては、2000年7月に打ち上げられたCHAMPならびに2002年3月に打ち上げられたGRACEのものを利用することを予定している。GRACEのデータがまだ一般に公開されていないため、本年度は、現在、入手可能なCHAMPのデータを用い、主に大気掩蔽観測に関連した軌道決定やデータ処理に関する問題についての検討を行い、GPS掩蔽データの解析ソフトをもとに、GPSの電波の位相遅延からDopplerシフトを計算する方法についての改良を試みた。L-L SSTについては重力場のシミュレーション研究を中心に実施した。
大気掩蔽観測データの処理については、衛星軌道データから大気屈折率への変換処理についてのアルゴリズムについての検討を進めており、より具体的なデータ処理手法の開発に着手する予定である。
L-L SSTのシミュレーションとしては、大気変動などによる重力場変化を、全球モデルを用いて再現し、衛星によるデータサンプリングのシミュレーションテストを実施した。
これまでに得られた研究成果は、2003年7月に札幌市で開催された第23回IUGG総会および2003年8月にナイロビ市で行われたCI-2003において発表した。
