Research Abstract |
Researching representative cities in Japan from Hokkaido to Kyushu, and collecting foreign materials, city patterns are classified to 4 large groups and 14 small groups. Trying simulation design, found that artificial hill residence itself is able to have about 40% to 45% green coverage. By materials and physionomy research, Japanese vegetational sceneries are classified to 6 large groups and 66 small small groups. Founding that landscape sceneries in rural area or natural area are 10 km to 20 km occasionary over 100 km, but in cities duration of landscape scenery are within 4 km, decided city landscape unit as 2 km duration including small units and small blocks. Selected cities as modeling for simulation planning and design are as follows - FUCHU City, KOGANEI City, KOKUBUNJI City, KAMAKURA City, YOKOHAMA City, TOKOROZAWA City and ODAWARA City Restoration of green coverage in sprawling area are gained about 45% to 55% by simulation planning in western area of TOKYO,TOKOROZAWA City and ODAWARA City using artificial hill residence. Aiming at nowadays ideal city with relation to the formation of green spaces simulation of planning and design of street pattern, street scenery row of houses, green space arrangement, park system, slope scenery, water front park, historical park, fruits park, pocket park etc are made in every modeling city. Light transmitting percentages of crown of about 100 species of trees are measured and connected with the results of survaying growing densities of trees, and several models of small frosts and forest floors are designed for amenity.
